How To Be In Christ Jesus Part 5/5

There’s a price to pay to be a follower of Jesus.

In our journey toward spiritual fulfillment, one thing is certain – our walk must align with that of our Savior.

Once you can truly be secure in Christ, the world and all its noise there will no longer affect you the same way it did.

Here Are 3 Keys That Guide Us Toward A Life Enriched By The Love And Grace Of Our Lord:

#1 Accepting Christ as Your Savior (Romans 10:9)

The first step to being in Christ is to receive Christ. How can we receive a gift we’ve never opened?

Decide to become born again, born in the Spirit.

#2 Crucifying the Flesh and Walking in the Spirit (Galatians 2:20)

Crucifying the flesh involves denying our self-centered desires and embracing a submission to God. By doing so, we yield to the Spirit’s guidance, allowing God’s glory to radiate through us. This transformation springs from a choice to be reborn and live by the Spirit.

#3: Forsaking Selfish Ambitions and Earthly Desires (Luke 9:23)

The price of this new life is the surrender of the old.

As we set aside selfish ambitions borne from the world, we create space for consecration and healing through God’s grace.

#4 Offering Yourself as a Living Sacrifice (Romans 12:1-2)

Don’t be influenced by culture.Rather, let us be vessels receptive to the transformative power of God’s word. The biggest prison on this earth is not the physical prison, it is the mind.

#5 Abiding in Jesus, the True Vine (John 15:4-8)

We must stay obedient to Jesus. As disciples, we humbly learn at the feet of our Rabbi.Just as branches rely on the True Vine, we draw life and sustenance from Jesus, our unwavering source of strength.

#6 Cultivating a Profound Love for Christ (John 14:23-24)

Let us gravitate towards those who share a fervent love for Jesus, a love that transcends earthly desires.

In fellowship, we find kinship with those who revere God in truth.

For love has a name, and that name is Jesus.

#7 Embracing Humility and the Mind of Christ (Philippians 2:5-11) (Colossians 3:12-17)

An enduring mark of God’s kingdom is humility, a virtue exemplified by Christ Himself.

As we strive to embody His essence, let us remember that God never demands what He Himself is not.

Let the humility of Christ guide our steps, and through our actions, may we shine as beacons of His grace.
