Prayer is like oxygen for the believer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints\u2014 (Ephesians 6:18)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Where did Jesus pray?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
35 Now in the morning, having risen a long while before daylight, He went out and departed to a solitary place; and there He prayed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Jesus prayed in a solitary place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A place with no interruption & quietness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Jesus disciples asked Him to teach them how to pray.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
11 One day Jesus was praying in a certain place. When he finished, one of his disciples said to him, \u201cLord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prayer was taught by Jesus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The disciples didn’t ask Him to teach them how to preach, but to pray.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There is something powerful of prayer that can also be taught to us as His disciples<\/p>\n\n\n\n
What the bible says about where we pray?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
6 But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. (Matthew 6:6)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Private prayer vs Public Corporate prayer<\/p>\n\n\n\n
13 And He said to them, \u201cIt is written, \u2018My house shall be called a house of prayer,\u2019 but you have made it a \u2018den of thieves.\u2019 \u201d (Matthew 21:13)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It’s great to pray in private.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It’s great pray in public with others in agreement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We need BOTH.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Do you have a prayer place?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Your prayer place can shift.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It doesn’t have to be a fancy setup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Just a place of private time & quietness with no interruptions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You may have an office, room, closet, or even your car.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Make a place where you always meet the Father daily in private.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
