How do we have a purified soul?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
& how do we have a soul that prospers?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
First we must know that…<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Your soul is under attack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The enemy wants you to fall into his schemes & tactics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He tries to tear you into pieces like a lion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1 O Lord my God, in You I put my trust;<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Save me from all those who persecute me;<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And deliver me,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
2 Lest they tear me like a lion,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Rending me in pieces, while there is none to deliver. (Psalm 7:1-2)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. (1 Peter 5:8)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
s<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The enemy sends people to hurt & harm us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Lord sends people to help us & heal us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
God wants us to live a prosperous life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. (Jeremiah 29:11)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Let’s talk about how our soul gets purified & how it prospers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Purification is a process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When we are purified, it’s to be cleansed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Cleansed of the old.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When gold is purified through fire, the impurities rise up to the top of the gold…<\/p>\n\n\n\n
…& the top of the gold where the impurities are, get removed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
How do we allow our soul to prosper?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
2 Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers. 3 For I rejoiced greatly when brethren came and testified of the truth that is in you, just as you walk in the truth. 4 I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth. (3 John 1:2-4)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We must walk in truth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Not just a hearer, but a doer of the word.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
How do we purify our soul?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
22 Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart, (1 Peter 1:22)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our soul gets purified by obeying the truth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Let the Lord purify you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
His ways are greater.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
His ways are better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Purification may not always be the way we desire it to be.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But the Lord allows it so we can become better as vessels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Remember, the bible isn’t here to punish us, but to protect us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our Heavenly Father loves us so much.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
May you surrender & submit to His ways so you can live a prosperous life for the Lord!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
