This may sound so simple.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Maybe that’s why we as Christians take advantage of it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It forgives us and cleanses us from all unrighteousness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Walking forgiven and cleansed as a righteous man or woman of God is walking in freedom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.” (Matthew 5:8)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Confessing sins creates a pure heart in us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Not just once a week. Not just once a month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I believe if you recognize the power of this blessing you will start confessing your sins every night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When you don’t confess sins it gives the devil power over your emotions or thoughts in that area of your life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed.” (James 5:16)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Confessing sins heals us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Don’t hold it in. Confess it to God or someone that God leads you to and be set free.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
