Is this a divine delay or a demonic attack?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Are we living in season due to our own decisions or the devil?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Let’s discern ways in the season we are in\u2026 if the devil is really attacking us?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
16 When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him. 17 And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, \u201cThis is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.\u201d (Matthew 3:16-17)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Pray for those that get baptized in the Holy Spirit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
They may face extreme warfare, but nothing that the blood of Jesus cannot overcome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
They must be trained in the word of God & covered by those who want to see them grow spiritually mature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
17 From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, \u201cRepent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.\u201d (Matthew 4:17)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When Jesus launched His ministry, He received criticism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If you ever want to ‘not’ have critics\u2026 become irrelevant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When you’re relevant to God’s will in your life, you may attract critics\u2026 & that’s okay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Fear God\u2026 do not have a fear of man.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
2 And when He had fasted forty days and forty nights, afterward He was hungry. 3 Now when the tempter came to Him, he said, \u201cIf You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.\u201d (Matthew 4:2-3)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Jesus was tempted every day in the wilderness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He got tempted by the enemy\u2026 & the enemy loves to come when you are weak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But the bible says that when we are weak, He is strong (2 Corinthians 12:10)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1 Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. (Matthew 4:1)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There are times when its okay to be alone with the Lord\u2026 & there are other times when you need others to pick you back up. (Ecclesiastes 4:11)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
22 Then Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying, \u201cFar be it from You, Lord; this shall not happen to You!\u201d 23 But He turned and said to Peter, \u201cGet behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men.\u201d (Matthew 16:22-23)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Peter walked with Jesus, talked with Jesus\u2026 yet tried to rebuke God Himself\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Now, this wasn’t Peter’s fault, he genuinely cared for the Lord\u2026 but God’s will is always higher than ours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There may be people who may not understand God’s will over your life, & that’s okay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Trust God above all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Stop trying to convince people of a vision God only showed you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
13 Now when the devil had ended every temptation, he departed from Him until an opportune time. (Luke 4:13)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
35 On the same day, when evening had come, He said to them, \u201cLet us cross over to the other side.\u201d 36 Now when they had left the multitude, they took Him along in the boat as He was. And other little boats were also with Him. 37 And a great windstorm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so that it was already filling. 38 But He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow. And they awoke Him and said to Him, \u201cTeacher, do You not care that we are perishing?\u201d 39 Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, \u201cPeace, be still!\u201d And the wind ceased and there was a great calm. 40 But He said to them, \u201cWhy are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?\u201d 41 And they feared exceedingly, and said to one another, \u201cWho can this be, that even the wind and the sea obey Him!\u201d (Mark 4:35-41)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Jesus was about to do deliverance right before this part in scripture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
& we knew it was the enemy because He had to ‘rebuke’ it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We rebuke devils in Jesus name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Just know you’re authority as a child of God when the adversary comes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
35 While He was still speaking, some came from the ruler of the synagogue\u2019s house who said, \u201cYour daughter is dead. Why trouble the Teacher any further?\u201d 36 As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, He said to the ruler of the synagogue, \u201cDo not be afraid; only believe.\u201d 37 And He permitted no one to follow Him except Peter, James, and John the brother of James. 38 Then He came to the house of the ruler of the synagogue, and saw a tumult and those who wept and wailed loudly. 39 When He came in, He said to them, \u201cWhy make this commotion and weep? The child is not dead, but sleeping.\u201d 40 And they ridiculed Him. But when He had put them all outside, He took the father and the mother of the child, and those who were with Him, and entered where the child was lying. (Mark 5:35-40)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sometimes you have to put everyone out of the room who doesn’t believe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There are people who are not meant to be in the room\u2026 and they might even be close friends or family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ask yourself\u2026 who is in the room?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
They might be the ones attacking you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
37 \u201cI know that you are Abraham\u2019s descendants, but you seek to kill Me, because My word has no place in you. 38 I speak what I have seen with My Father, and you do what you have seen with your father.\u201d 39 They answered and said to Him, \u201cAbraham is our father.\u201d Jesus said to them, \u201cIf you were Abraham\u2019s children, you would do the works of Abraham. 40 But now you seek to kill Me, a Man who has told you the truth which I heard from God. Abraham did not do this. 41 You do the deeds of your father.\u201d Then they said to Him, \u201cWe were not born of fornication; we have one Father\u2014God.\u201d 42 Jesus said to them, \u201cIf God were your Father, you would love Me, for I proceeded forth and came from God; nor have I come of Myself, but He sent Me. 43 Why do you not understand My speech? Because you are not able to listen to My word. 44 You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it. 45 But because I tell the truth, you do not believe Me. 46 Which of you convicts Me of sin? And if I tell the truth, why do you not believe Me? 47 He who is of God hears God\u2019s words; therefore you do not hear, because you are not of God.\u201d (John 8:37-47)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When you’re speaking the truth\u2026 religious devils manifest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Never let a man-made religion try to muzzle you from speaking the truth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Jesus was confronting religious devils\u00a0in\u00a0this\u00a0text.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
