If you don\u2019t transform from it, you will transfer it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It’s time to recover our hearts & minds…<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Recover – return to a normal state of health, mind, or strength.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We must go through this process to fully be healed of the past.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You go through:
Surgery
Healing process
Healed<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Recognize you need to heal.
Release that to God.
Renew your mind.
Recover season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Surgery – When you go through surgery, no one but ‘specialists’ are allowed in the operation room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Whenever anybody enters the operation room that is not a specialist… it may contaminate what the doctor is doing during the surgery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Be mindful of who is around when you’re vulnerable & God is doing a spiritual surgery on your heart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Healing process – While we are healing we may have to wear a cast or a wheelchair during recovery season…<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And we have to be able to make sure we take it ‘easier’. If we’re in a wheelchair we shouldn’t be running but slowly getting back to walking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This is how you should move spiritually.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Healed – Being healed doesn’t mean you’re never going to get hurt again, it just means you won’t react the same again when you do get hurt. That hurt will no longer have control over you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To know you’ve truly been healed means that you don’t have a desire to cut those that cut you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Jesus is our Healer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We must recognize He is the one who can heal us… but the question is do you have any unbelief?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We’re going to read the same story from different accounts in the gospel to see the perspectives of this story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
17 Then one of the crowd answered and said, \u201cTeacher, I brought You my son, who has a mute spirit. 18 And wherever it seizes him, it throws him down; he foams at the mouth, gnashes his teeth, and becomes rigid. So I spoke to Your disciples, that they should cast it out, but they could not.\u201d 19 He answered him and said, \u201cO faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him to Me.\u201d 20 Then they brought him to Him. And when he saw Him, immediately the spirit convulsed him, and he fell on the ground and wallowed, foaming at the mouth. 21 So He asked his father, \u201cHow long has this been happening to him?\u201d And he said, \u201cFrom childhood. 22 And often he has thrown him both into the fire and into the water to destroy him. But if You can do anything, have compassion on us and help us.\u201d 23 Jesus said to him, \u201cIf you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.\u201d 24 Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, \u201cLord, I believe; help my unbelief!\u201d 25 When Jesus saw that the people came running together, He rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it, \u201cDeaf and dumb spirit, I command you, come out of him and enter him no more!\u201d 26 Then the spirit cried out, convulsed him greatly, and came out of him. And he became as one dead, so that many said, \u201cHe is dead.\u201d 27 But Jesus took him by the hand and lifted him up, and he arose. 28 And when He had come into the house, His disciples asked Him privately, \u201cWhy could we not cast it out?\u201d 29 So He said to them, \u201cThis kind can come out by nothing but prayer and fasting.\u201d (Mark 9:17-29)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
14 And when they had come to the multitude, a man came to Him, kneeling down to Him and saying, 15 \u201cLord, have mercy on my son, for he is [c]an epileptic and suffers severely; for he often falls into the fire and often into the water. 16 So I brought him to Your disciples, but they could not cure him.\u201d 17 Then Jesus answered and said, \u201cO faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him here to Me.\u201d 18 And Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of him; and the child was cured from that very hour. 19 Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, \u201cWhy could we not cast it out?\u201d 20 So Jesus said to them, \u201cBecause of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, \u2018Move from here to there,\u2019 and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. 21 However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.\u201d (Matthew 17:14-21)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
37 Now it happened on the next day, when they had come down from the mountain, that a great multitude met Him. 38 Suddenly a man from the multitude cried out, saying, \u201cTeacher, I implore You, look on my son, for he is my only child. 39 And behold, a spirit seizes him, and he suddenly cries out; it convulses him so that he foams at the mouth; and it departs from him with great difficulty, bruising him. 40 So I implored Your disciples to cast it out, but they could not.\u201d 41 Then Jesus answered and said, \u201cO faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you and [g]bear with you? Bring your son here.\u201d 42 And as he was still coming, the demon threw him down and convulsed him. Then Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, healed the child, and gave him back to his father. 2. Stay humble.
3. Put God first.
4. Meditate on the word day and night. Look up scriptures that pertain to what you have been delivered from. It is important to have a word to be able to resist the devil. Example: if you were delivered from the spirit of fear. Look up all the scriptures on fear and memorize them. And when the enemy tries to bring any situation or thoughts of fear. You have the word to say, as it is written in 1 Timothy 1:7, \u201cGod has not given me the spirit of fear but of power, love and a sound mind.\u201d
5. Know who you are in Christ.
6. Pray without ceasing.
7. Turn away from all occult and any idolatry.
8. Get rid of things in your house that can cause an open door. Any decorations, artifacts, clothes, photos, or any items that do not honor Jesus.
9. Ask the Holy Spirit to lead you to a church that is biblically based, spirit-filled, and led by the Holy Spirit.
10. Attend Bible studies regularly.
11. Continue to live a life of Holiness, Righteousness, and Reverence to God.
12. Study the power and authority that you have as a disciple of Jesus Christ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
