How To Know It\u2019s A Delay From God?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Joseph went through a divine process\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Pit to Potiphar\u2019s to prison to palace\u2026 & being in charge of the nation of Egypt\u2019s resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Throughout all scripture the Lord was with Joseph. Even being a slave!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
God took Joseph through this process and he was able to land a promotion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Operating in his prophetic gifting in prison being able to interpret the butler & baker\u2019s dream.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Because of him using his prophetic God given gifts\u2026 it landed him in front of Pharaoh, who later acknowledged Joseph\u2019s God as God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
38 And Pharaoh said to his servants, \u201cCan we find such a one as this, a man in whom is the Spirit of God?\u201d (Genesis 41:38)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the end of the story of Joseph he proclaims God uses what the enemy meant for evil..<\/p>\n\n\n\n
20 But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive. (Genesis 50:20)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Why do we experience delays?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ignorance<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ignorance is our inability to have the right information before making a wise decision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We might not be getting in God\u2019s word & pulling His wisdom in our current situation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Foolishness<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There is such thing as foolish wisdom\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n
7 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, But fools despise wisdom and instruction. (Proverbs 1:7)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Foolishness is our ability to acknowledge instruction, but not practice it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Wisdom is having discretion, the least amount of consequences from an action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Curses<\/p>\n\n\n\n
They hinder us and hurt us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In Deuteronomy 28\u2026 there are more curses than blessings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We can break curses in Jesus name, but we must first recognize what curses are operating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We have to reverse the curse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Protection<\/p>\n\n\n\n
3 ways God answers prayers\u2026 yes, no & wait I got something better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
That wasn\u2019t rejection, that was God\u2019s protection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
What is the delay or the door closing is protection from God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We must trust the Lord has something better for us\u2026 because His plan is always greater.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
How to overcome delays?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
#1 Love God<\/p>\n\n\n\n
#2 Seek Him with all your heart<\/p>\n\n\n\n
#3 Know your identity in Christ<\/p>\n\n\n\n
These 3 can be developed with our walk with God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
37 Jesus said to him, \u201c\u2018You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.\u2019 (Matthew 22:37)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
12 Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. 13 And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart (Jeremiah 29:12-13)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
